Jonah’s Saucony: A four song tape EP. Old enough that I don't have the cover art. Like a few of my releases, I don’t own a copy. Robust offered to make me a dub, but some things are meant to be out of reach. Four tracks deep and pressed
in limited run by Jay over at the since defunct Hip Hop Infinity (then a fledgling site yet to discover the miracle of Benefit).
For those who have a copy and wonder what in the hell I’m doing in one of the photos-suffice it to say I was making fun of
the cover of no longer so lil’ Kim’s debut album. That picture was taken at Scribble, I believe it was the same day of the
battle where I had fun in the qualifying round. I used to know how I came up with the title,
but my memory isn’t quite up to the task-maybe you can ask JON?DOE when you see him.
The first four songs I recorded
are on this tape, including Table Scraps-a track recorded before I hit China, ought’a graf-showed up as a halfway unlisted
(don’t look at me, see Sponyfield) track on Double Helix’s DNA-lysis, lb. APHLECHE-track JON?DOE and I rocked, and Soylent
I’d Banded-a beat by Artur Hawking fka the Hitman and recorded at Click the Supa Latin’s place. Click's wife made dope enchiladas.
